ABOUT CRANEY INTERPRETING SERVICES
Interpretation and translation
Prior to founding Craney Interpreting Services in 2012, Beatriz cultivated years of experience as an independent interpreter. Her extensive background includes court interpreting at various levels, including federal, superior, and municipal, as well as conference interpreting, working with The United Nations, and prominent legal cases. Ms. Craney is an active member of NAJIT, where she has beed a presenter, served as a long-standing sponsor, and serves as an annual conference chair. Her expertise has been recognized through invitations to serve as a guest speaker for Staff Interpreters by the Massachusetts Trial Court and for students in the Translation and Interpreting Program at Rutgers University.
Ms. Craney is dedicated to interpreter education and teaches Judicial Interpreting courses at Brookdale Community College. She has also contributed to the field through her participation in online training courses for the esteemed De La Mora Institute of Interpretation.
Driven by a commitment to fostering growth within the interpreting community, Ms. Craney organizes professional development seminars, intensive boot camps, and skill-building events designed to enable interpreters to enhance and refine their professional capabilities.
